An oil inflow with a capacity of 60 tons per day was discovered while testing an exploratory well at the "Zhambyl" structure, Kazakh Oil and Gas Minister Uzakbai Karabalin said at a meeting with Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev today.
"This is a very happy event for oil industry workers and all of us," Trend quotes Karabalin.
"The further operations will be continued," he added.
"But now one can talk about the discovery of a new deposit and I would like to congratulate you," the Minister said, Trend reports.
