Kazakh Prime Minister Serik Akhmetov signed the ban for exports of light distillates, kerosene, gas oils and other petroleum products yesterday. The exceptions are special gasoline types and distillates with an octane level of less than 80, Trend reports.
However, only 100,000 tons of the lower-octane distillates will be exported. The ban will be in force on July 1 – December 31, 2013.
