The Avaz tourism zone of Turkmenistan will host an inter-department conference today to discuss ecology of the Caspian Sea, control over pollution and monitoring of water, preservation of biological resources according to the national action plan.
The conference will be attended by officials of the State Enterprise for Issues of the Caspian Sea, State Presidential Agency for Management and Utilization of Hydrocarbon Resources, State Service for Maritime and River Transportation, State Committee for Fishin Economy, UN DP, European Union, WHO, diplomats.
Attendants of the talks will mark the Tehran Framework Convention for Protection of Environment of the Sea that came into force in 2006.
