0.3 percent economic growth has been registered by Eurostat, world media report on Tuesday. This means that the long-term stagnation of the European economy has ended. The economic growth was provided by France and Germany.
Former deputy head of the Russian Central Bank and director for macroeconomic research of the Higher School of Economics Sergey Aleksashenko told Ekho Moskvy that all experts had believed that the economic growth would begin in Europe three months later.
The fact that the stagnation ended earlier is very promising, Aleksashenko says.
