Azersun Holding to build logistical center in Kazakhstan

Azersun Holding (Azerbaijan) and the Aktau Seaport (Kazakhstan) signed a memorandum of understanding on Wednesday to build a logistical center in Aktau (West Kazakhstan) for $10 million, Interfax-Azerbaijan cites Askar Aytuarov, deputy head of the Aktau Seaport.

The facility will cover 4 hectares.

The Aktau Seaport attracted 25 companies in 10 years.

Vidadi Guliyev, deputy head of Azpromo, said that Azerbaijan had about 40 companies with Kazakh capital, Kazakhstan had 300 companies with Azerbaijani capital.

Azersun Holding was founded in 1991 to produce food and agriculture products and trade.

The Aktau Seaport was launched on January 1, 2003. It covers 2,000 hectares and will operate until January 1, 2028.
