Stanislav Nevrozov, Deputy Director General of Dagestan Airlines, presented the reconstruction project of the Makhachkala International Airport named after A.-K. Sultan, RIA Dagestan reports.
The runway will be extended to 3km. Mirza Omariyev, Director General of Dagestan Airlines, said that the company increased prices for flights from Makhachkala 1.5 months ago.
The official said that Ak Bars Aero of Tatarstan expanded the flight network of the Makhachkala Airport. He noted that there will be more destinations in the North Caucasian Federal District.
Omariyev said that a new air company of Dagestan will be formed. It will be named South-Eastern Airlines.
