The Turkish State petroleum company 'Botash' has paid a fine of 600 million dollars to the National Iranian Gas Company (NIGC) for importing a lesser quantity of gas than agreed in their contract, Trend reports.
According to the terms of the 23-year contract, signed 15 years ago, Turkey was to import 30 million cubic meters of gas per day from Iran. However, 'Bogash' managed to import only 25 million cubic meters per day.
