Foreign trade of Kabardino-Balkaria totaled $35.53 million in Q1 2013, the Ministry for Economic Development says.
79.19% of its trade partners were non-neighbour states. Trade with Italy totaled $6.32 million, Ukraine $5.23 million, United Arab Emirates $4.75 million, China $4.62 million, Germany $3.23 million.
61.70% of Kabardino-Balkarian exports were chemical products. The share of export in the trade turnover of the region totaled 19.91%. Export operations were worth $7.67 million in January-June 2013.
Exports to neighbour states totaled $5.92 million, to CIS states $1.75 million.
Kabardino-Balkaria imported goods worth $30.86 million in January-June 2013. Products worth $24.59 million (dropping by 72.85%) were imported from non-neighbour states, $6.26 million (-43.24%) from CIS.
19.64% of all imports came from Italy, 14.97% from China, 10.15% from Germany, 16.63% from Ukraine and 2.10% from Azerbaijan.
37.15% of the imported products in January-June 2013 were engineering equipment.
