Iran has stopped uranium enrichment to 20% and concentrates on processing the material into medical isotopes for the research reactor, Rosbalt reports.
The volumes of uranium did not cross the redline mentioned by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu at the UN General Assembly. Iran has gathered 240-250kg of uranium enriched to 20% since 2010. It would be enough to build one nuclear bomb.
According to earlier reports, Iran may accumulate enough uranium in mid-2014 to build nuclear weapons. The US Institute for Science and International Security said that it would become possible with the use of thousands od centrifuges in Natanz and Fordow.
The IAEA was recommended to intensify inspections to at least twice a week.
