As of August 21, the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan's (SOCAR) exports to Russia amount to around 2.5 million cubic metres of gas per day, compared to 1.5 million cubic metres as of June 28, a source in the company told Trend on Wednesday.
Azerbaijani gas supplies to Russia began on January 1, 2010.
"Exports to Russia are carried out in a normal regime and in accordance with the contract provisions. Currently, the volume of supply is estimated at 2.5 million cubic meters per day," the source is quoted as saying by Trend.
