The government of Kabardino-Balkaria expects to create 30 thousand new jobs in industry, agriculture and tourism by 2020.

"By 2020, the government of Kabardino-Balkaria's plans to create 30,000 new jobs, which should significantly change the local labor market and reduce the dependence of the republic on federal subsidies," Interfax-South quotes the statement of the republic's leadership.

"In the project to build the SEZ Agroindustrial PLANA park alone we expect to launch two industrial clusters in the field of agriculture and plastic packaging. They will consist of 18 enterprises, which will need about 11 thousand employees," the statement reads.

According to the head of the republic, Arsen Kanokov, three sites of the tourist-recreational special economic zone "Elbrus-Bezengi" will require about 10 thousand people to work on the slopes and 70 ski lifts.

The budget of the Kabardino-Balkaria is expected to increase from 6.5 billion rubles to about 24 billion, the report says.
