Russian Central Bank releases a new 1000-ruble note

The Russian Central Bank has released a new 1000-ruble note, which was first?released in 1997 and modified this year. From today, the new note is accepted all over Russia. According to the deputy chairman of the Central Bank, Georgy Luntovsky, the new notes have already been printed and will be released after the 10th of August.
The new notes will have 5 signs that citizens will be able to check. One of the main differences is that the figure of Yaroslav Mudry is now grey, not green.
The board of the Central Bank hopes that new security measures will prevent the notes being forged.
