Volume of foreign trade operations between Iran and Turkey drops by 40%

The trade turnover between Iran and Turkey reached about $9.351 million in January-July, compared with $15.741 million in the same period of 2012, Trend reports.

Thus, the trade turnover dropped by 40%.

Iran imported goods worth $2.902 million from Turkey (-64%, compared with the year before).

4.3% of total imports in Iran belong to Turkey. Iran is the top 8th importer of Turkish products. 3.3% of exported products of Turkey are shipped to Iran.
