Tbilisi will launch a free industrial zone in two years, Business Georgia reports.
Minister of Economy Vera Kobaliya confirmed the information. She said that the project will be discussed at a parliamentary session today.
Kobaliya noted that it concerns 4 enterprises within the free economic zone of Tbilisi, the primary spheres of which are production of electronic engineering and construction materials and their export.
This project will create over 1500 jobs, the minister said.
