Afghan Minister for Mines Waheedullah Shahrani said yesterday that Afghanistan offered Azerbaijani investors benefits, Trend reports.
He said that Afghan President Hamid Karzai had visited Azerbaijan and met President Ilham Aliyev. Shahrani noted that AzMeCo was building a refinery in the northern part of Afghanistan. They had discussed investments in the Afghan market that has 30 million people.
Shahrani said that many Afghan students had graduated in Azerbaijan in the 1980s.
