Azerbaijani Minister for Economic Development Shakhin Mustafayev said at the National Group for Realization the Concept ‘Azerbaijan 2020: a look to the future’ that the economy was capable of accomplishing goals set in the document, Trend reports.
The concept states that the non-petroleum GDP will increase by 7% annually to $13,000 per capita and non-petroleum exports to $1,000 per capita. Achievements of the first months of 2013 inspire optimism. According to January-July figures, the GDP growth in zerbaijan totaled 5%, non-petroleum GDP by 10.5%. Invesmtnets made exceeded the figures of the same period in 2012 by 27.2%, non-petroleum exports grew by 10%.
The group made recommendations to create 166 documents in the past half a year. They include state programs, strategies, concepts needed for realization of the concept. There are 83 preliminary document projects. The group will carry out 250 missions in 8 fields and 450 subcategories of the concept.
