Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev has opened the Yevlakh Airport and was informed about its exploitation by AZAL head Jakhangir Askerov, 1news.az reports.
The airport has a new runway (2520m long, 40m wide, covering 105,000 square meters), new guide track (345m long, 25m wide, covering 10,700 square meters), ramp (30,800 square meters), air terminal (1200 square meters), four-storey building (1300 square meters), parking lot for 60 cars.
The Yevlakh Aiport is capable of servicing large jets and, besides transporting passengers, will play an important role in development of agriculture.
