Asanali Karamaliyev, Deputy President of the Tajik Trade and Industry Chamber, met Hussein Tusi, President of the Chamber for Trade, Industry, Mining and Agriculture of the Alborz Region of Iran, have met in Dushanbe today, Trend reports.
Tusi described the local economy, opportunities for cooperation and progress of the chamber.
The business delegation from Alborz includes representatives of companies specialized in trade, agriculture, construction, production of construction materials, food, confectionary products, carpets and other fields. The Tajik side had over 20 members of the chamber presented.
Karamaliyev focused on cooperation of the two chambers, organizing exhibitions, fares and exchange of delegations. He was informed about progress of the Tajik chamber. They signed a cooperation agreement. Karamaliyev described prospects of cooperation, formation of joint ventures to process raw materials.
The sides plan to implement new technologies to improve quality of their products.
Concluding the meeting, the delegations signed a memorandum for cooperation of their chambers.
