Javad Jakhangirzade, head of the Iranian parliamentary delegation to Azerbaijan and member of the Iranian parliamentary commission for national security and foreign policy, said that Iran and Azerbaijan had a trade turnover of $2 billion and had potential for further growth, Trend reports.
He called the Aras and Maku free economic zones the most significant areas of their kind. An Azerbaijani delegation will visit the Aras zone in the near future and discuss cooperation, the Iranian MP noted.
