Kazakhstan is hosting the 5th KazanSummit, an international economic summit of Russia and the OIC states. About 230 delegates from 35 countries, including Qatar, Malaysia, Pakistan, Palestine, UAE, Senegal, Mexico, Nigeria, Saudi Arabia, Sudan, Morocco, Turkey, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, and 350 Russian delegates will attend the talks.
They will discuss economic cooperation, investments, world trade. Russia will present the Smart City Kazan project. Russian mass media sources will attend a forum to discuss the role of press in the investment climate of Russia.
President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov. OIC Secretary General Ekmeleddin Ihsanoglu, Vice Speaker of the Federation Council of Russia Ilyas Umakhanov will make speeches at a forum on practical steps towards strengthening of bilateral economic ties of Russia and OIC members.
