Turkey's TPAO will continue explorations for hydrocarbons in the Black Sea. Two more companies will join Shell in the exploration process, Trend reports.
Turkish Minister for Energy and Natural Resources Taner Yildiz said that Ankara had invested $2,5 billion in searches for oil and gas in the sea, expecting to find large hydrocarbon reserves in the Turkish and Ukrainian sectors of the sea.
Shell and TPAO signed an agreement for joint exploration worth $150 million in February 2013.
