Chechnya has chosen 54 priority industrial, energetic and agricultural facilities and service providers that are yet to be created, the Chechen government reports.
The projects include the construction of a refinery to process 1 million tons of oil a year, a factory producing lithium-ion batteries, a shoe factory in Grozny, small dams, wind power plants, a Grozny thermal power plant, 11 generator facilities, new funds of the Fagus Chechen Forest Enterprise, dairy cluster, animal-breeding facilities, greenhouse of Sovkhoz Rodina, a confectionary and grocery at Urus-Martan, construction of the Veduchi Resort in the Itum-Kalinsky District, Sernovodsk-Kavkaz Resort in Sernovodsk, Vodolechebnitsa Health Center in Grozny, Kezenoy-Am Sports and Tourism Center.
Realization of the projects will provide over 20,000 people with jobs.
