USA doesn't consider nuclear power station in Iran's Bushehr a threat

The nuclear power station in Iran's Bushehr due to be launched on August, 21 poses no threat of nuclear weapons proliferation, declared a spokesman of the US State Department.

 However, the Department still has some concerns about Iranian nuclear program. 'The fact that Russia supplies the Bushehr project indicates that Iran does not need his own facilities for enriching uranium if its intentions are peaceful', - BBC reports the Department spokesman as saying.
