Turkish Minister for Energy and Natural Resources Taner Yildiz said that the Trans-Anatolia Pipeline (TANAP) was encouraging a reduction of gas prices in Turkey.He noted earlier that Turkey had been selling gas to consumers for prices below the import costs. 45.5 million cubic meters were consumed in 2012. 14 billion cubic meters were sold at the Turkish domestic market in January-April 2013, compared with about 16.02 billion in January-April 2013.
