The Russian government commission for legislature has approved the bill limiting severage pay for top managers of organizations with over 50% of state-owned shares, ITAR-TASS reports.
The problem was raised at a conference of the All-Russian People’s Front in Rostov-on-Don on March 29. President Vladimir Putin attended the meeting. The idea to limit severage pay for high-ranking officials was provoked by reports about Alexander Provotorov, ex-head of Rostelecom, who received over 200 million rubles when he was fired.
