The State Oil Company of the Azerbaijan Republic (SOCAR) has started drilling a new oil well at the Guneshli Field in the Azerbaijani sector of the Caspian Sea.
SOCAR-AQS will drill a well 3450m deep at the Guneshli-13 platform. It is expected to provide 100 tons of oil daily. The 28 May Field Office will exploit the well.
