Georgia, Romania to sign ferry cooperation deal

Georgian Deputy Minister for Economy and Sustainable Development, Natiya Mikeladze, and Romanian Deputy Transportation Minister, Marian Buica, will sign a deal for cooperation between their ferry transportation systems in Tbilisi tomorrow, Trend reports.


Development of ferry transportation will boost freighting in Georgian ports.


A Romanian Transportation Ministry delegation arrived in Georgia on October 23. It visited the ports of Batumi and Poti. The sides discussed the restoration of ferry service between Constantza Port in Romania and Georgia's Batumi and Poti.
