A railway tunnel built under the Bosphorus Strait will open in Istanbul at 3.00 pm today, Interfax reports.
Turkey hopes that the tunnel will boost trade between West Europe and Asia. It will operate only partly after the launch. The full launch of the tunnel will happen at an unspecified date.
