Georgian Minister for Finances Nodar Khaduri said that the government had paid off bonds worth $60 million this year and reduced its foreign debt to about $4.5 billion, Trend reports.
About 600 million lari ($1 = 1.66 lari) will be paid to the International Monetary Fund (IMF) next year. The minister noted that about 400 million lari will be invested in infrastructure projects in 2014.
