Turkish Minister for Economy Zafer Caglayan said at the final session of the Turkish-Swiss business forum in Stockholm that the European Union's economic growth was lower than Turkey's, Trend reports.
He noted that Turkey had an economic growth rate exceeding that of many other EU states.
Caglayan criticized the EU for issuing visas to Turkish businessmen while other categories of citizens have difficulties receiving them.
The minister added that about 5 million people lost jobs in the EU and about 6 million found jobs in Turkey.
