Kazakhstan launches Toyota car manufacturing

Dinara Shukijanova, Deputy Director for Social Affairs of AgromashHolding, said that the first Toyota cars assembled in Kazakhstan will be available on the CIS market in 2014. The cars will be assembled in Kostanay, ITAR-TASS reports.SsangYong (South Korea) became the basis for car manufacturing in Kazakhstan in 2010. 7000 SsangYong cars have been manufactured in four years. 50,000 square meters have been provided for the assemblage, $170 million invested for the process.
