Russia, Kazakhstan sign oil agreement

Russia and Kazakhstan have signed a preliminary agreement to transport Russian oil through the Central Asian republic, RIA Novosti reports citing the Prime news agency.

Igor Sechin, chief executive of Rosneft and Sauat Mynbayev, head of Kazakh national oil company KazMunayGaz, and Kairgeldy Kabyldin, general director of Kazakh national pipeline operator KazTransOil signed the deal.
