SOCAR and BP sign cooperation agreements

The State Oil Company of the Azerbaijan Republic (SOCAR) and BP have recently signed several cooperation agreements, Azerbaijani news agency Trend reports.

The agreements deal with nationalization and cooperation in the framework of the Baku Oil School and the Gobustan Regional Education Centre.

According to SOCAR chief Rovnag Abdullayev, the company seriously lacks qualified personnel and hopes successful cooperation with BP in the sphere of education may be a way out of this problem.
