Georgia exported 8,917,700 bottles (0.75L each) of grape wine to Russia in June-September 2013. This means 33.7% of total volume of wine exported in 9 months of 2013, Georgia Online reports.
Georgia has exported 26,458,700 bottles of wine to 49 states, exceeding the volumes in the same period of 2012 by 71%. 8,523,100 bottles were exported to Ukraine in 2013.
The other top importers of Georgian wine are Kazakhstan, Belarus and Poland. They imported 20.7% of Georgian wine. They are followed by Latvia, China, Lithuania, Estonia, US and other states. This year, Georgia started wine exports to Brazil, Turkmenistan, Egypt, Italy, Singapore, Jordan, Sweden and Spain.
