Turkey has started construction of the Cildir/Aktas checkpoint in the Javakheti District on the Georgian-Turkish border, Trend reports.
A delegation headed by Georgian Minister Nodar Khaduri and a Turkish delegation represented by Hayati Yazici, Minister for Customs and Trade, Rifat Hisarciklioglu, President of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey, and other officials attended the foundation of the checkpoint.
Together with the new checkpoint, Georgia will conclude reconstruction of the Kartsakh checkpoint.
