Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov is in Iran today to attend the 21st Ministerial Council of the Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO) hosted by Tehran on November 26-27, Trend reports.
Mammadyarov will meet Iranian officials and discuss bilateral relations.
ECO members are holding a session on November 24-25 before the Ministerial Council starts. They will discuss the charter of the Analytical Center planned for opening in Baku, achievements in transportation, trade, energy, environment, agriculture in 2012-2013, realization of ECO projects and programs, proposals for 2014, communiqué of the Ministerial Council.
Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Turkey, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Tajikistan and Iran will attend the 21st session of the ECO Ministerial Council.
