French Development Agency to open in Georgia

Georgian Minister for Finances Nodar Khaduri and French Minister for External Trade Nicole Bricq discussed trade-economic relations in Paris, Trend reports.

Khaduri said that France was planning to open an office of the French Development Agency in Tbilisi. The sides will organize a business forum. France will help Georgia improve the credit rating, including the rating of COFACE (Compagnie Française d'Assurance pour le Commerce Extérieur). The common goal is to double trade turnover of Georgia and france.

The Georgian minister noted that the free trade agreement will come into force fast after being signed at the Vilnius summit of the Eastern Partnership. The document will boost Georgian economic development and integration in European structures.
