Georgian President Georgy Margvelashvili has met Suma Chakrabarti, President of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), within the framework of the Vilnius summit, Georgia Online reports.
They noted the importance of the association agreement of Georgia and the EU signed at the summit. Margvelashvili expressed a readiness to host the annual EBRD Council of Managers and announced plans to continue reforms for the free trade agreement with the EU.
Chakrabarti gave a positive evaluation to the meeting. He noted that about 2 billion euros had been invested in Georgia in the past 20 years.
