Russia fails to enter list of top 100 least corrupt states

Transparency International has published the annual index of corruption for 177 countries of the world. Russia has scored 28 points again, failing to enter the list of top 100 least corrupt states, although it improved its position in the index with the help of higher corruption rate in other countries.Russia, Azerbaijan, Gambia, Comoros, Lebanon, Madagascar, Mali, Nicaragua and Pakistan have the same corruption level. Belarus is ahead of Russia, in 123rd position in the list, Moldova is 102nd, Armenia is 94th. Denmark and New Zealand scored 91 out of 100 points, coming top of the list.Afghanistan, North Korea and Somalia got only 8 points each. The scores are calculated according to a combination of polls and use corruption data collected by various organizations.
