Georgian President Georgy Margvelashvili’s salary has increased from about $2,500 to $5,300 a month. The president will receive about $4,300 after taxes, said Minister for Finances Nodar Khaduri, Trend reports.
The president dismissed part of his office, allowing him to distribute their salaries among the remaining staff.
The pension in Georgia totals about $95, the average wage totals about $207-237 a month.
