Iranian Petroleum Minister Bijan Namdar Zanganeh and Eni Chief Executive Paolo Scaroni have discuss prospects of cooperation after ease of anti-Iranian sanctions, Trend reports.
Eni plans to intensify activities in Iran, according to Scaroni. He discussed assistance Iran my offer for the company.
Zanganeh had said earlier that Total (France), Shell (UK), Eni (Italy) and Statoil (Norway) had been willing to return to the Iranian energy industry. Zanganeh had also met officials of OMV AG (Austria) and Shell to discuss cooperation.
