Iran and Pakistan to boost gas pipeline construction

Pakistani Minister for Oil and Natural Resources Shahid Abbasi and Iranian Petroleum Minister Namdar Zanganeh have agreed to speed up construction of the gas pipeline running from the South Pars Field, RIA Novosti reports.Iran has almost completed its section of the pipeline. Construction of the pipeline in Pakistan started in March 2013. Iran will use the pipeline to deliver about 21.5 million cubic meters of gas to Pakistan a year.
