Turkey may increase TANAP share

Rovnag Abdullayev, President of the State Oil Company of the Azerbaijan Republic (SOCAR), said today that Turkey may increase its share in the TANAP project, Trend reports.Turkey may increase its share with the help of shares offered to Statoil and Total. Turkey owns 20% in the project and Azerbaijan owns 80%.SOCAR partners developing the Shah Deniz Field had expressed readiness to buy shares earlier. They want Azerbaijan to sell 29% of shares to Statoil (12%), BP (12%) and Total (5%).
