Iran doesn't intend building any new nuclear facilities

 

Russia and Iran do not plan creating any new joint projects in the sphere of nuclear energy, the head of the Russian Atomic Energy Agency Sergey Kiriyenko told a press conference today in Bushehr on the first critical launching stage of the Bushehr power plant, reports RIA-Novosti. Completion of the first critical stage and launching the station are the first aims, he added. The head of the Iranian Atomic Energy Organization, Ali Akbar Salehi, confirmed that no new projects are being discussed.
