Azerbaijan will open laboratories to analyze grape-growing and wine-making quality, as well as technological advancement. It will also conduct other research at the laboratory, APA reports.
Such centers will open in Jalilabad, Ganja, Shamakhi, Absheron and northern region of the country. Their construction will start in 2014, said Tariel Panakhov, Director of the Research Institute for Grape-Growing and Wine-Making.
Every region will expand territories to grow grape by 30 hectares with laboratories. The official added that importing grape seeds was expensive.
