Gas consumers in the North Caucasus Federal District owe about 50 billion rubles, said Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev at the government commission for socio-economic development, Gazeta.ru reports.
The PM demanded stricter control over gas consumption and punishments for unsanctioned exploitation of gas equipment.
