The agreement concerning investment in the second phase of the Shah Deniz project marks the coming end of the oil epoch and the transition to the epoch of gas, Azerbaijani expert Vugar Bayramov believes.
According to him, the main character of Azerbaijani gas projects is their long-term nature. The revenue of the Shah Deniz project is expected to amount to $200 billion, the expert stresses.
Azerbaijan will be the first country of the Eastern Partnership, which will contribute to Europe's economic safety and help establish new jobs in the European Union, Bayramov underlines.
