The State Oil Company of the Azerbaijan Republic (SOCAR) and Fugro, a company of Netherlands, have agreed to form a joint venture to specialize in bathymetrical, geophysical and geotechnical research, Trend reports.
The joint venture named Azeri Fugro will be founded according to the initial agreement signed in 1995. The SOCAR will own 51% of the company. The joint venture will provide equipment and remote-controlled transportation, diving services and other services in the sea and land.
