The regional budget of Ingushetia will compensate the interest on mortgages for apartments, Rossiyskaya Gazeta reports.
One of the regional ministries will work on the problem within the framework of the Thousand Apartments Program. Bank clients, banks and the republican government will sign trilateral agreements to make the payments. Mortgages will last 10-30 years.
People willing to take part in the program may purchase housing only in multi-storey apartment buildings in Nazran, Malgobek and Ordzhonikidzevskaya. Banks will offer mortgages for 18 square meters of housing per person. Housing construction has already started. One square meter in multi-storey apartment buildings will cost 22,000 rubles.
