An illegal alcohol workshop has been closed down in Beslan and another one in Gizel (Prigorodny District), ITAR-TASS reports.
The police found three systems filling bottles with alcohol, 400,000 bottles of alcohol drinks, about 100,000 forged labels and other equipment. The economic damage caused by the illegal workshops exceeds 40 million rubles.
The products were sold at retail shops and restaurants. The police are considering initiating cases on illegal production, purchase, storage, transportation and sales, illegal use of labels and illegal excise payments.
